About Andy Haynes

From the BBC to the front of the room

I was born in Bristol and have spent most of my life in Worcestershire.

After working in high street shops and at Ford and Toyota dealerships, I became a radio presenter with the BBC.

That's where I learnt to make complicated things easy to understand.

Alongside broadcasting, I invested in property, providing homes for tenants who weren't in a position to buy.

My portfolio grew enough for me to go part-time with broadcasting.

I then spent many years training property investors, helping hundreds, if not thousands, of people build portfolios of their own.

That led me to write No More Rent, an Amazon #1 bestseller for first-time buyers who dream of owning their own home.

Today I also help nervous people find the confidence to speak, and I host and speak at conferences and awards nights.

I'm an accredited business mentor, a member of the Professional Speaking Association and the FSB, and a founder director of Bradley Haynes Law, a solicitors' firm in Worcester (although I'm not a solicitor myself).

In my spare time, I'm a school governor, I'm learning to dance like they do on Strictly (but not as well), and I play crib in a local pub league.

I also enjoy walking, and time with my family and our Cavapoo.
